Soft spot for Harry Potter

Soft spot for Harry Potter

Posted by Mr Brick on 1st Dec 2014

About a year ago I came to the conclusion that the Brick Lady private collection of LEGO needed some direction and control on the acquisition front.  It's a sad day when you need to refine what LEGO themes you will collect and which ones you will cull.  My primary focus is anything to do with creating a city layout - trains, construction, boating, mining, planes, even space can be squeezed in.  You then start to stretch to things like wild west and Lone Ranger as you can argue every good city needs a theme park of sorts.  Harry Potter starts to stretch the purchasing matrix - except when I override it cos it's just plain fun to collect.

Birdwood Motor Museum in South Australia is hosting a display of a 1962 Ford Anglia (The Enchanted Car) and other wizardry things over Christmas.  Check out their site for more details.

My private collection of HP Lego will be on display including this car and other older sets.
